Scriptwriting
This script I wrote was inspired by the short horror film "Don't look away". I start to write this in my first year and I thought this is a good way to show practical skills is to finish this and modernize is as well.

Re creating this script has helped me to understand how to write a script and what I can improve on when coming to do the real script.
Adobe Premiere
I decided to gather some old clips from previous films i have made and apply then to adobe premiere. This will help me explore and understand premiere in more depth ready for the real editing.
The first task i did was import the clips to premiere and set out the timeline how i want it
This has been useful to do because of my main role being a director I personally think me having ago at writing a script helps me understand how to do it and what makes it good.
The next step was to layout the clips in order and make sure the storyline makes sense
I used FreeSound.org for sound effects to apply to my practise project.
I applied the sound where I wanted it.
After I finished editing the short film I wanted to have a intro and outro, unfortunately I didn't understand how to change colour or fonts to I used this video to help me how to do it.
Final piece
The directing skills I applied to this is making sure everything runs smoothly and if a scene was not right i would ask to have it made again, throughout this I was very organised and I personally think I gave it a good first go.
